"It has been a few months since my family moved into our new home. When I reflect back on our move which included the sale of our old house and the purchase of this one I am still surprised at the ease of some aspects of the process and the difficultly of others. In all, I am clear that we made the right decision to work with Ingrid Miles for both transactions.
The easy part was selling our house. In this economy and slow real-estate market our house sold in three days at our asking price. Now that the closing on my house is behind us, the one thing that remains for me to do is to draw to your attention the superb quality of Ingrid Miles effort and the results that effort achieved.
I believe the first time Ingrid arranged to show our house, her peace and quiet at home were disturbed at about 11:30 PM when my ex-wife called to falsely complain that she had not left the key in the agreed spot, that lights were left on etc. etc. This was as good as it got for Ingrid. From that point onward my ex-wife would never agree to the first suggested showing time in any instance and would not agree to Ingrid being allowed a key; she always intentionally left the house untidy, with clothing, dirty dishes, and prescription medication bottles strewn all over the place. ...For reasons of her own was trying to do everything possible to prevent the house selling. ... Nevertheless, Ingrid carried on having to work through my wife's attorney to gain any cooperation at all. Where someone with lesser integrity or pride in their work would have simply handed back the listing, Ingrid pressed on.
When the first sale on our property at the full offer price fell through despite there being a signed contract in place, Ingrid continued to work diligently and was able to finally gain a second sale. That we were able to obtain a second sale at all was entirely and solely due to Ingrid's yeoman like effort.
